Counselling process for Management Courses : Type of Counselling, Important Dates, Eligibility and Fees

Introduction :

 Eligibility : 

We will see later, now what will be the flow of the counselling process, first of all enrollment for centralized online counselling on the basis of NLT CET score, that is, you start the counselling process on the score card of NLT i.e. CAT CMAT and CET, that is, once the details that you had given at the time of form and secondly in the counselling process, then you have given the details, in the counselling process you can change your category, upload marks, if there is a pursuing candidate of under grade, then he can update his score etc., okay, what did you do after this, you did the enrollment for counselling, then you did choice filling and preference filling, did online verification of documents for reserved category and for other categories, but in the case of MBA, this document verification happens after choice filling for seat allotment It happens later, the rest of the places will be done first. So roughly what happened is that the person who has given CAT and CMAT, he registered by paying ₹2500, filled the form for counseling, did choice filling for counseling, locked his seat. After locking the lock, the result came and the result of round one came. As soon as the result came, you have to submit the submission of part academic fee which is 96000 and 60000, in this case it is 96000, you will have to submit that. So it is mandatory to pay part academic fee for participation in second counseling round. If you have not paid the part academic fee, then in case of non-payment of part academic fee to confirm seat allotment, the candidate will be out of counseling due to non-acceptance of allotted seat. If you have not paid the fee, then you will be directly sent to this spot which will be the fourth round and if you have not paid the fee, then you will be sent directly to this spot which will be the fourth round and If you have paid part academic fees then the college will be provisionally allotted to you. What you will do is take that allotment letter and then you will give your submission whether to freeze that college or to float it.

Fees

No or there is an opportunity, there is scope that you can get a better college than this, then you will float, let me explain the difference between the two and practical, I have applied for colleges from 1 to 10 marks, I got the first college itself, so where will you go above that, you will not go below, you will not go above that, I got the first college itself but I have got the fifth number college, so in the remaining four, you have chances there, there is scope in the next round that you can go till there, so on getting the first college itself, your chances are frozen, if you get the fifth, then you can float and try for the rest of the colleges, that maybe you will get that college in the next round, okay now if you have frozen and floated your willingness, then after that if you withdraw online, if you feel that the college I have got is not good and you withdraw online, then you become directly eligible for the spot round as a fresh candidate, so if we talk about this process in the first round, If you do not withdraw online then what happens to you, you get a call from the college for document verification, you have to pay the remaining fee, documents have to be verified, after a few days your classes start, this round one gets completed here, but in case you do not get a seat, what will we do, then after that we will participate in the second round, what will happen, Enrolment for Centralised Online Counselling and addition, modification, deletion and choices of preference, okay, now those who have participated in the counselling in round one, they have gone to round two, those who have either floated or did not get a seat, so only two people can go, those who have frozen and got the desired college, they are out, but which two people will go, one who have floated and second, those who did not get any college, they will automatically come in the second round, now what will you be able to do, Enrolment for Centralised Online Counselling and you have to add a new college there, which If you have to make any modification in the college you have added or if you want to delete any choice from it, then you will do it immediately in the second round. What happens after that is the declaration of the result is done and then the same process will be followed after submission of part academic fee has been done. If the seat is allotted for the first time, it is mandatory to pay part academic fee for participation in the further counselling round. If you have already been allotted a seat, then it is okay, but for the one who has been allotted a seat for the first time, there is a compulsion to pay part of the academic fee. If you have not paid the part academic fee, then the college allotted to you will be provisionally suspended and then you will directly become eligible for the spot. Let me tell you one thing here, all those who apply for a spot in the IPO have to pay an additional fee.

Now if you are allotted a college for the first time, it is clearly written here that if the seat is allotted for the first time, if the college is allotted for the first time, then you paid part academic fee, you got the allotment letter and you gave a willingness of free zero float, okay, after that the same process which was there in the first round one, if it is the desired college, then go to the college, get the document verified, pay the remaining fee, the college will start, you can start your academic session, but if you do not like the college, then what will you do, do an online withdrawal, it is up to that child and there you can apply for the spot as a fresh candidate, after these two rounds, the third round starts which we call sliding round, okay, in the sliding round, enrollment for centralized online counseling, addition, modification, deletion and choices are done, again you will see there who all have gone, who has floated, has come in the third round or whoever has two If one does not get a college even in this round, he/she will automatically come in the third round which we call sliding round. For those who are interested, mandatory registration will be done respecting the status of admission in previous online rounds of counselling. That is, instead of counselling of previous rounds, you will have to submit a fresh application here. Its fee is separate, which is ₹500 or ₹1000. You can apply for that.

Again the same choice filling will be done there and declaration of results of spot round will be available and IPO also mentions how many seats are left in that particular college in that particular course, so you can also track from there, then here when the college is allotted, you have got submission of part academic fee, if the seat has been allotted to you for the first time, then you will have to pay part of the academic fee, non-payment here means that you have gone, now you will not get much admission, in some cases they conduct the next round i.e. spot round two after spot round one, but they do it only in special cases, that is fine and it may be that spot is offline and not online, so it is done, if the seat is allotted for the first time it is necessary to pay part academic fee and upgrade candidate must pay the prescribed upgradation fee, what happened here, allotment letter is done, whoever wants to do online withdrawal has done it online, otherwise you will have to withdraw online from the college you are allotted to. The institute has been allotted to you, you will have to check your eligibility part of balance academic fees there, non reporting means that your admission will be cancelled.  Important Dates : 

Now if we talk about the timeline, fresh registration has been started by the IPO again on the basis of CAT, whose first cut-off list will come on 26th May, so you can assume that first admission will be done on the basis of CAT till 26th May, after that it will start on the basis of CMAT, after that it will start on the basis of CET, so I will also discuss with you how much time it will take for counseling through CET, let's come to the next page, what are the program codes here for two years, then it is clearly written here that first pressure will be given to CAT, then to CMAT, to CET, then to CUT, we move ahead, now see here one more thing is to be understood that 85% seats are reserved for those who are from Delhi region and 15% seats are reserved for outside Delhi, so who are the people for whom outside reservation is given, those who have given the last qualifying exam from Delhi, they are considered candidates of Delhi, that is, it is possible that you If you have done your 12th from UP but you have done your graduation from Delhi University, then you will be considered as a Delhi candidate or if you have done your 12th from Delhi but you may go to do your graduation from the university, then you will be considered as an outside Delhi candidate. See the schedule of counseling for MBA CAT 2024 program code 1001 is for LLM program, so in round one, they have given that choice filling will start for round one.
