Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Professional Studies

Published on 20/08/2025

The college was established in 2008 by Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Seva Samrak Trust Society. Now, the interesting thing is that this trust has been working in the health and education sector for almost 70 years. So they do have experience in running institutions, and they’ve received quite a few awards and recognitions. Under JAC audits, too, the college has managed to maintain a grade consistently. So on paper, things do look impressive.

But as we all know, rankings aren’t everything. What matters is how strong the placements are, how well the college prepares you for the industry, and what kind of resources it gives you, and that’s where things start getting a bit shaky.

 About approvals and Affiliation :

the college is approved by AICTE and MHRD, and it's affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. So yes, academically, it’s recognized and runs under proper university norms.

Location :

Now let’s talk about the location. The college is situated at Sector 11, Road Number 221, opposite the metro station in Dwarka Sector 11. That metro station is the nearest one, and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the college from there. In terms of connectivity, it’s decent — you’ll find autos, e-rickshaws, and buses easily available. So commuting daily won't be a headache.

Courses Offered :

The college mainly offers BBA and MBA programs. And you’ll get a few specialization options in MBA too. So both are business and management-focused courses. But one thing to remember is that these courses are usually more job-oriented rather than research-oriented. And your full focus will be on learning corporate skills, communication, leadership, and the basics of business.

But again, your success depends a lot on how serious you are. You’ll get the base, but it’s up to you how much extra effort you put in, because at the end of the day, your skills are what matter most.

About the library:

It’s one of the better parts of the college. The library has over 10,000 books, and there are journals, e-journals, and e-books too. So whether it’s academic books, magazines, or research material, you’ll find a decent collection.

Infrastructure :

The college has seminar halls, indoor game rooms, computer labs, and a cafeteria. The facilities are alright, they may not blow your mind, but they do cover most of what a student needs day to day. In terms of infrastructure rating, I’d say it’s above average.

Now,  when it comes to campus life, it’s not that vibrant. It’s kind of okay. There are activities like industrial visits, guest lectures, conferences, and a few seminars. The college also organizes some leadership camps and educational trips. So, it’s not boring, but it’s also not very happening. I’d say it sits in the average zone.

 Conclusion:

BCIPs Dwarka can be a decent option if you’re clear about your goals and ready to put in the work. The college will give you the basic infrastructure, exposure through trips and seminars, and decent placement opportunities. But if you think you’ll join and automatically land a big job without any effort, that’s not how it works.
